My business "The Wooden Heart" has been manufacturing Country Wooden Furniture for many years now. My woodworking products are currently wholesaled to six businesses within Victoria, Australia. We also send our products all over Australia via internet online orders and in fact to several other countries throughout the world.
My Business Idea and Business Plan was to manufacture Country Wooden Furniture products at the best price I could, to enable Country Furniture lovers the chance to purchase wooden furniture and homewares at the lowest price that I could offer. I tend to manufacture my wooden country furniture in bulk lines and as such, hopefully reduce the end price to our purchasers.
Basically over time I have built up a popular line of Wooden Country Furniture that my followers and stockiest have accepted as large selling products. I am constantly designing new Wooden Furniture products and at last count I had in excess of 90 Country Furniture and Homeware products for sale. No doubt there will be a continued supply of new wooden furniture products appearing.
As mentioned on my Woodworking Plans web page I have finally decided to put my woodworking plans into computer format. This was brought about firstly by necessity, as my woodworking plans were starting to show their age. Secondly, there have been an large number of web enquiries asking if I sell my woodworking plans. Many of these enquiries have come from people who own the popular Triton Woodworking Machinery. No doubt many of these people see that I use Triton Woodworking Machinery myself. Many of the enquiries come from other home woodworking lovers that have a variety of other woodworking machinery they use.
My woodworking plans are designed around trying to make it easy for the home woodworking user to grasp and manufacture. Many of the home woodwork followers manufacture wooden furniture or homewares for gifts to others. It is amazing how much can be saved when you can manufacture wooden furniture yourself! Not to miss the enjoyment of manufacturing something special.
So there you have it. What started as a woodworking hobby evolved into a fully fledged Home Based Business. Anyone out there can do what I did, simply by manufacturing Country Style Wooden Furniture and wholesaling direct to shop outlets or via Online Sales.
